Introduction to ICE Tea Network
Learn what ICE Tea is, how it works, and the values we operate by.
π± Introduction to ICE Tea Network
Welcome to the ICE Tea Network β a decentralized, abolitionist project built to protect and support communities facing surveillance, raids, and criminalization.
Info
ICE Tea isn't a single organization β it's a distributed network of people, tools, and tactics working together for community safety.
What Is ICE Tea?
ICE Tea is a mutual aid network that helps communities respond to immigration enforcement and police activity. It provides tools for:
- Reporting ICE and law enforcement sightings
- Dispatching trusted volunteers to witness and support
- Training community members in field and digital safety
- Coordinating care, legal, and logistics roles during actions
The platform and protocols are designed to be secure, decentralized, and scalable β built for grassroots organizers, not bureaucracies.
Our Values
We are:
- Abolitionist β We believe in dismantling systems of policing, detention, and borders.
- Decentralized β We donβt rely on a central command. Trust is distributed.
- Community-led β Locals know best. We train people to protect their own.
- Secure by default β Safety isnβt optional. We use encrypted tools and protect sensitive data.
- Mutual aidβrooted β We offer support, not charity. Everyone gives and receives as they are able.

Who Makes Up ICE Tea?
Thereβs no βICE Tea HQ.β Instead, the network is made of:
- π§ββοΈ Field responders (witnesses, legal observers, medics)
- π§ Dispatchers (trusted coordinators who activate responders)
- π Tool stewards (people who build and secure the platform)
- π Care teams (supporting people impacted by enforcement)
You donβt need to be a tech expert or a legal scholar to help. What matters is trust, training, and readiness.
Roles Within the Network
While ICE Tea is known for dispatching support, it also includes:
- Observers β Witness and document police/ICE activity
- Care Stations β Provide physical safety, water, support
- Runners / Rideshare β Help with movement and exit
- Digital Support β Manage maps, reports, and comms
- Legal Coordination β Help track arrests or violations

A Note on Trust
Trust is earned β not assumed. To receive access to certain tools or roles, you must complete specific trainings. These include:
- π¬ Role quizzes
- π Digital security pledges
- β Dispatch certifications
This keeps the network safe, scalable, and hard to infiltrate.
Success
If you believe in collective care, radical safety, and decentralized resistance β you're in the right place.
